The vHackathon will be started with a series of talks to put everyone on the same page, after which there will be a session where we will discuss how we’re going to run the vHackathon.

Specific plans:

1. Algorithm development: SPDHG and preconditioning for PDHG
2. investigate implementing image registration in SIRF/CIL
3. apply advanced optimisation algorithms PET/MR MCIR (motion compensated image reconstruction) or even image registration

This will be done within the CIL framework and SIRF. Development will mostly be in Python.

The morning sessions will start at 10 am except Tuesday, when we will start at 11 am.
