CCP PETMR Awards 2018

We are delighted to announce the winners of the prizes for the top 3 active contributors to the CCP PET-MR software framework and all that pertains to it, for the period June 2017 - December 2018. These 3 prizes (named gold, silver and bronze, of values £400, £200 and £100 respectively) are awarded annually to the top 3 contributors (early career researchers) to the project, whether for contributions in software, education or administrative matters.

This year, the gold prize was won by Ashley Gillman, the silver by Benjamin Thomas and the bronze by Casper da Costa-Luis. Prizes were presented by Kris Thielemans.

Bronze (£100) Casper da Costa-Luis
For efforts on docker and conda, and general trouble shooting with git and CI

Silver (£200) Benjamin Thomas
For facilitating training via cloud computing

Gold (£400) Ashley Gillman
For For contributions to STIR and SIRF related to image geometry and active presence on github
